About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer (iOS) to join engineering team in New York, NY. This onsite role requires strong hands-on expertise in iOS development, Java, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments, with a strong focus on application resiliency, security, and scalability. You will lead mobile development initiatives while ensuring high-quality, secure, and resilient applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of iOS applications using Swift
Implement and maintain unit test automation to ensure code quality and reliability
Collaborate closely with Java-based backend services
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for mobile application delivery
Work with Docker and Kubernetes for application build, deployment, and orchestration
Design and support resilient, highly available, and secure mobile applications
Apply secure coding practices and proactively address application-level security risks
Collaborate with Product, UX, Backend, QA, and DevOps teams
Conduct code reviews, enforce engineering standards, and drive best practices
Mentor and guide junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong hands-on experience in iOS development using Swift
Mandatory experience with Java
Strong experience with Unit Test Automation
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines
Mandatory experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and mobile-backend integration
Strong understanding of application resiliency, reliability, and security best practices
Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes across modern domains such as:
Mobile application development
Cloud platforms
Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have / Add-On Skills
Exposure or hands-on experience with AI / ML / NLP
Experience integrating AI/ML services or models into mobile applications
Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and security standards.
