Requirements of the role

We are currently looking for two Senior Analysts to join our Business Intelligence Team (Strategy directorate) at the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH).

The team plays a leading role in understanding strategic issues and sector risks to social housing providers and shaping our approach to regulating both economic and consumer standards. We have two roles available with one in our Economics & Consumer Data Team and the other in our Strategic Analysis & VFM Team.

Job Description

As a Senior Analyst you will be responsible for the delivery of a number of analysis projects, delivering high-quality quantitative and qualitative analysis on key sector risks and strategic issues affecting the social housing sector. You will develop leading knowledge on particular risks and issues, delivering briefings to senior staff, regulators and key external stakeholders, including training staff and contributing to the development of external publications.

These are key lead roles in supporting the development of the regulator’s approach, ensuring that it reflects a credible understanding of key risks and issues. This role will also lead initiatives across the team, coordinating the team’s approach to delivering and communicating analysis.

Responsibilities

As the successful candidate, you will have significant experience of delivering high-quality research and analysis, both quantitative and qualitative, with the ability to then communicate your research findings in a clear way to a range of audiences. You will have the ability to manage a range of projects and will have strong communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop key stakeholder relationships.
