Zyphe is a rapidly growing startup re‑imagining the large and growing identity verification space with a privacy‑first, decentralized identity platform that lets businesses onboard customers in seconds while keeping personal data off their servers. We’ve built our platform for KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and KYB (Know Your Business) from the ground up on Web3 principles to give users greater control over their identities and personal information. Key Responsibilities
The SEO and Digital Marketing Manager’s responsibility will be to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy that helps Zyphe to generate qualified inbound leads through digital channels, while growing Zyphe’s brand and online presence over time. This involves creating and implementing an end-to-end inbound marketing plan covering technical SEO, on-page and off-page content, paid ads, generative AI search optimization, and other tactics to generate leads and drive brand awareness. In a competitive industry, this means understanding Zyphe’s competitor landscape, the latest trends in digital marketing, and deploying advanced strategies to help Zyphe outrank rivals and capture qualified leads. You’ll plan campaigns that span the full funnel – ensuring we capture audience interest at every stage, from awareness to conversion.
Keyword Research & Content Optimization: Identify high-value keywords, guide creation of SEO and GEO (Generative AI) optimized content, and refine on-page elements (titles, headings, internal links, metadata) to improve rankings and CTR.
Technical SEO and Website Health: Audit and optimize site speed, mobile performance, crawlability, indexation, and schema. Use tools like Screaming Frog to fix technical issues and maintain strong Core Web Vitals.
Backlink & Off-Page Strategy: Develop a high-quality backlink strategy through outreach, partnerships, and link-worthy content. Conduct regular backlink audits and monitor competitor link profiles.
Local SEO & GEO Targeting: Optimize Google Business Profile, directory listings, and geo-specific content to improve visibility in local and regional searches.
Manage Digital Paid Ad Campaigns: Run and optimize paid campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn), including audience targeting, creative development, A/B testing, spend management, and conversion tracking to maximize ROI.
Analytics, Tracking & Improvement: Use analytics tools to monitor performance, report results, and refine strategies based on data trends, testing, and continuous optimization.
Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor content, keywords, and digital strategies to uncover opportunities and guide innovative SEO, GEO, and digital marketing tactics.
Collaborate with Design & Development: Work with design and engineering to ensure site updates follow SEO best practices and support strong UX. Make minor updates in Webflow when needed.
Own SEO and Digital Marketing Outcomes: Own key SEO and inbound metrics and goals, including traffic, rankings, lead conversions, etc., setting and achieving targets through a results-driven, iterative approach.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven SEO Experience: 3+ years of SEO work with measurable growth results, ideally in competitive industries like fintech, SaaS, or compliance.
Technical & On-Page SEO Expertise: Hands-on experience with audits, page speed fixes, mobile optimization, schema, and basic HTML/CSS and Webflow familiarity.
SEO Tools Proficiency: Skilled with Webflow, GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush, and crawling tools like Screaming Frog.
Informed on the Latest GEO Trends: Candidates must be familiar with the latest trends in Generative AI Search Optimization (GEO) and are able to develop informed strategies to rank in generative AI search results.
Experience with Content & Keyword Strategy: Strong keyword research and content optimization skills across the funnel and for varied search intents.
Link Building & Off-Page Skills: Experience acquiring high-quality backlinks and maintaining a clean, authoritative link profile.
Local SEO Knowledge: Comfort managing Google Business Profile, citations, NAP consistency, and local SEO tools.
Design Collaboration & UX Sense: Ability to collaborate with designers/developers and understand how SEO, UX, and brand storytelling work together.
Analytical & Results-Driven: Experienced with digital marketing and SEO dashboards, KPI tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent Communication: Clear communicator who can explain SEO concepts to non-experts.
