Job Description

What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support critical initiatives within our Global Cyber Security – Cyber Technology Operation team. This role focuses on managing the end-to-end lifecycle of Third-Party Connections, leveraging tools like Archer to ensure robust risk management, compliance, and operational efficiency.

What will you do?

Support a variety of initiatives: process uplift and optimization, monitor and manage new and existing Third-Party connections, onboarding activities, reporting, gap analysis and remediation, automation initiatives and maintaining overall posture of Third-Party Connections
Utilize Archer and other GRC tools to manage workflows, reporting, and risk mitigation
Monitor automated workflows and track compliance updates for third-party connections and applications
Work with Tableau dashboards to review automated data feeds and identify reporting enhancements
Communicate technical requirements (e.g., data logic, dashboard updates) to development team
Conducts analysis on deviations from established controls and proposes mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders.
Provides training and assists with coaching of employees to increase awareness of and ensures conformance with RBC security policies and procedures

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

5+ years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role, with a proven track record of analyzing business processes, driving system improvements, and delivering technical solutions—particularly within Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks
Hands-on experience with Archer (highly preferred) or other GRC tools (e.g., ServiceNow, RSA)
Experience with risk and compliance frameworks – NIST, ISO, and PCI-DSS
Demonstrated experience supporting Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) workflows, including tracking and managing compliance updates for third-party connections and applications
Ability to communicate technical requirements—such as data logic, dashboard updates, and system enhancements—to development teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance standards
Detail-oriented with a focus on operational excellence

Nice-to-have

Certification from these organizations: ISC2, ISACA
Previous banking experience
