Title: Senior IT Project Manager (Corporate Security)

Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only)

Duration: 12 months on W2 contract

Overview:

Seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead Corporate Security technology projects, including software applications, hardware deployments, and potential field work. The role involves managing multiple projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead project planning, execution, and closeout activities
Define scope, schedules, resources, and financials
Manage SOWs, requirements, test plans, and technical documentation
Conduct status meetings and stakeholder communications
Manage risks, scope changes, and project budgets
Utilize tools such as Planisware, SAP, Ariba, Jira
Oversee vendor coordination and site visits (as required)

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
PMP certification or 6+ years of project management experience
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Experience with MS Office and project management tools

Preferred:

Experience in Physical Security Systems (Access Control, Surveillance, Intrusion Detection)
Application development/deployment experience within security domain

Additional Info:

Hybrid role (local candidates only)
Travel reimbursable with prior approval
Candidate to provide laptop initially

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $86.00 - $90.00 per hour.
