With a team of approximately 35 employees and plans to grow to 50+ over the next year, they combine the agility of an early-stage startup with the backing and resources of a well-capitalized organization.

The Opportunity

Our partner is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their expanding sales team in New York. This role sits at the front of the go-to-market engine, focused on engaging commercial real estate professionals, qualifying prospects, and generating pipeline for the Account Executive team.

This is a high-impact role with a clear path into closing positions over time. You'll work closely with sales leadership, receive structured training and coaching, and benefit from a compensation plan designed to meaningfully reward top performance.

Responsibilities

Execute outbound prospecting across phone, email, and social channels targeting commercial real estate brokers and related professionals
Qualify inbound and outbound leads and schedule 30+ high-quality meetings per month for Account Executives
Collaborate closely with AEs and Marketing to align on account strategy and messaging
Maintain accurate activity, notes, and pipeline data within the CRM
Use performance data and feedback to continuously improve outreach tactics and messaging

Requirements

6-18 months of prior SDR/BDR experience in a B2B SaaS environment preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills; confidence in phone-based outreach
High energy, resilience, and a growth mindset with a desire to exceed targets
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment
Based in or willing to relocate to New York City; able to work in-office 4 days per week
