AWS Python Developer

We are looking for multiple highly experienced AWS Python Developers to join a delivery-focused engineering team working on cloud-native solutions. You’ll be contributing to backend services built on AWS, following modern engineering best practices within an agile environment.

This is a hands-on role suited to senior engineers who are comfortable owning backend components and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

This will be inside IR35, 6+ months, Nottingham, 3 days a week, circa £500 per day.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, including frameworks such as Django
Build and support cloud-native applications on AWS
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services
Work with AWS services
Collaborate within an Agile delivery team, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

Required Skills & Experience

Sold commercial software development experience
Strong Python backend development expertise
Proven experience building solutions on AWS
Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL

Nice to Have

Experience working in large, distributed engineering teams
Exposure to high-availability or scalable systems
Previous contract experience in enterprise environments
