Location: Nottingham, UK (Hybrid)

Type of Hiring: Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Python Developer with strong backend expertise and deep knowledge of AWS cloud services. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications using Python and AWS technologies within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend applications using Python and frameworks such as Django
Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, and AppSync
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services
Ensure high-quality code through development best practices such as pair programming and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver scalable and reliable cloud solutions

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 9 years of software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services
Solid expertise in Python backend development
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL
Good understanding of Agile methodologies and modern development practices
