Insight Global is seeking a Supply Chain/Business Analyst to join one of the largest Supply Chain Engineering organizations in the world. This person will be joining a growing team that is focused on supply chain compliance, regulations and auditing. This group offers extensive room for advancement as this Supply Chain/Business Analyst will eventually be helping lead, guide and direct the organization on how to manage internal systems, controls and documentation surrounding international and domestic transportation, manufacturing and ordering.

Supply Chain Analyst (Business Analyst)

Georgetown, KY

Hybrid Remote (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Hourly Rate: $23.00 - $25.00

Duration: 6 month contract - likely extensions or permanent conversion

Desired Skills & Experience:

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Data analytics experience
Strong Microsoft Excel experience
Experience or interest in supply chain or compliance

This person will primarily begin by training directly with the manager and a Sr. Analyst to learn the supply chain industry regulations, systems, and structures. During that time there will be heavy work within MS Excel, ERP systems, WMS portals, and related in-house software with the main goal of identifying, documenting and training internal teams on how to manage internal documentation to meet regulatory requirements. An example of some beginning items is checking with subsidiary databases to ensure their information, numbers, parts orders, and quantities are correct, accurate and following regulatory standards. Further into this position this will often even include visiting major logistic hub locations to perform in-person audits and create detailed reports for division-wide process improvement strategies.

We are highly seeking someone with a passion for data analysis who enjoys a heavy communication role. Often time changes this Business Analyst will be making will require "teaching the why" and training other divisions on best practices. Prior experience in Excel is required (VLOOKUP's, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, VBAs/Macros or similar items preferred) and training can catch this person up to speed on the internal compliance systems in place.
