Business Programme Manager – Savings & Retirement

City of London (2 days onsite per week)

circa £850 per day (Inside IR35)

9-Month Contract

I’m currently partnering with a leading Insurance organisation on a significant transformation programme within their Savings & Retirement division.

This is a high-impact, business-facing Programme Manager opportunity leading a complex, multi-workstream initiative supporting expansion into the Individual Retirement market. The programme spans multiple business and technology workstreams and requires strong governance, stakeholder alignment, and delivery leadership across a matrixed environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading a large-scale, cross-functional programme with multiple interdependencies

• Establishing and embedding governance structures, steering forums and reporting frameworks

• Driving collaboration across business, technology, risk and operations teams

• Managing senior stakeholder engagement and executive-level communication

• Bringing clarity, structure and pace to an evolving strategic initiative

The ideal candidate will bring:

Proven experience delivering complex transformation programmes within Financial Services

Strong background in Savings & Retirement and/or Life Insurance

Experience operating at senior stakeholder and C-suite level

The ability to bring structure to ambiguity and lead multi-workstream delivery

Strong governance, risk and financial oversight capability

This role requires someone commercially aware, delivery-focused and confident operating in a highly visible environment where impact and accountability are key.

Hybrid working – 2 days per week onsite in the City of London.
