Job Specifications

Ready to make a real impact on global health and wellness care?

Practice Better is an all-in-one platform helping health and wellness practitioners run their businesses, care for their clients, and scale their impact. Founded by practitioners in 2016, we’re now the leading EHR and practice management platform in the wellness industry, trusted by tens of thousands of practitioners across 70+ countries.

In 2023, we expanded our whole-practice care offering through the acquisition of That Clean Life, bringing nutrition planning into our platform.

We’re a remote-first team headquartered in Toronto, made up of curious, driven, and empathetic people building tools that help practitioners create sustainable, independent practices; and do the most meaningful work of their careers. While most of our work happens remotely, we come together regularly for off-sites and team events to stay connected and build together.

Position Summary

We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Content Marketing Manager to help established health and wellness practices recognize and solve the challenges that come with growth. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to surface demand, generate meaningful buying signals, and position Practice Better as the obvious choice when scaling practices are ready to make a decision.

As our Content Marketing Manager, you'll be helping multi-practitioner clinics and growing practices recognize problems they already have, giving them language for those challenges, and helping them understand why solving them matters. Your focus will be on creating content that resonates with practices in research mode, tracking who pays attention, and staying top of mind so when they're ready to buy, we're their first call.

Note: Practice Better is a remote-first company with team members across North America. However, this particular role is currently open to Canadian-based candidates only, and preference will be given to applicants legally authorized to work in Canada.

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and execute a content strategy that helps scaling practices (e.g., 3–20 practitioners, multi-location, mixed service lines) articulate the challenges they're facing as they scale - from operational complexity to client experience gaps to team coordination issues
Create high-quality content that meets practices where they are in their buying journey: blog posts that explain the problems we solve, guides that help them evaluate solutions, case studies that show what's possible, and thought leadership that teaches them something useful
Build and refine a system for generating and tracking buying signals - who's downloading guides, attending webinars, reading multiple articles, visiting pricing pages - and work with Lifecycle and Product Marketing to determine what signals indicate real interest
Partner with Customer Success to uncover and tell stories that help prospects see themselves in our customers' journeys
Collaborate with Product Marketing and Sales to understand the specific pain points of practices with higher practitioner volumes and translate those into content that provides clarity, not hype
Optimize content for discoverability (SEO) so practices in research mode can find us when they're looking for answers
Analyze what content and channels are producing the best signals, and double down on what's working
Create a nurture strategy that keeps Practice Better top of mind for prospects who aren't ready yet

What You Bring

4-6 years of content marketing experience, with at least 2 years creating B2B SaaS content for scaling practices.
Proven ability to create content that generates real buying signals and converts over time - you understand that most people who will eventually buy aren't ready to buy right now
Strong understanding of the buyer journey and how to create content for prospects in research, evaluation, and decision modes
Experience defining what constitutes a meaningful lead or signal, and tracking content performance beyond vanity metrics
Demonstrated ability to interview customers, extract insights about their challenges, and translate those into content that makes prospects think "that's exactly what I'm dealing with"
Experience with SEO and GEO best practices and content optimization tools (Google Analytics, Moz, Peec AI or similar)
Strong project management skills with the discipline to consistently publish helpful, relevant content
Bonus: Familiarity with the health and wellness, healthcare, or professional services industries

Compensation & Pay Transparency

At Practice Better, we believe in pay transparency, equity, and fairness. We benchmark compensation against similar-stage, high-growth SaaS companies in both Canada and the United States and review our salary bands regularly to ensure they remain competitive and aligned with market trends.

Each role has a defined pay range based on its level, scope, and geographic location. Final offers are determined by several factors, including
