Job Specifications
Synechron is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with extensive FXO (Foreign Exchange Operations) experience to join our team working with a well known global bank. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analysing, designing, and implementing FXO processes and systems, ensuring they align with business objectives and enhance operational efficiencies.
Role:
Gather, analyse, and document FXO business requirements from stakeholders
Conduct detailed gap analysis to identify areas for process improvement and system enhancements
Support the testing and validation of FXO systems and processes, ensuring alignment with business needs
Provide subject matter expertise on FXO processes, regulations, and industry best practices
Assist in the implementation of new FXO platforms, tools, and workflows
Monitor and report on key performance metrics to ensure operational effectiveness
Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies related to FXO
Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to translate requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions
Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross-functional teams to support process redesign and system development
Experience:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on FXO or foreign exchange operations
Strong understanding of FX markets, products, and workflows
Experience with FX trading platforms, risk management systems, and back-office processes
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear documentation and technical specs
Experience with process mapping, workflow design, and business process improvement methodologies
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior involvement in system implementation or transformation projects
Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting FX operations
Role requires x3 day as week in SHEFFILED - Long term rolling contract - £450 Inside
