Job Specifications
We're looking for a hands-on freelance Cloud IAM Security Engineer to join the IT Security department of a major Belgian organization, embedded within their Identity & Access Management team.
Your mission: You'll design, implement and automate IAM architectures across cloud and multi-tenant environments (Azure, AWS), ensuring identity security aligns with Zero Trust principles and regulatory requirements — while supporting internal health insurance fund clients.
What you'll be doing:
Designing and deploying scalable IAM architectures across Azure and AWS multi-tenant environments
Implementing Zero Trust controls — least privilege, conditional access, MFA, SSO
Building automated workflows for provisioning, role management, and access recertification using IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation)
Integrating IAM into CI/CD pipelines and developing scripts in Python/PowerShell
Managing PAM/PIM solutions and identity governance tools (SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, BeyondTrust)
Strengthening IAM monitoring and auditing via SIEM/SOAR and security tools (IDS, IPS, Firewalls)
Ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, SOC2
Your profile:
5+ years in Cloud Technology (Azure, AWS) and broader IT security (network, application, cloud)
4+ years in hybrid cloud computing, ISO 2700x standards, and IT security risk analysis
Strong hands-on experience with Azure AD / Entra ID, AWS IAM, GCP IAM
Deep knowledge of OAuth2.0, OIDC, SAML, JWT, RBAC/ABAC/PBAC, PIM/PAM
Solid scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) and automation mindset
French and/or Dutch + English
Practical details: Anderlecht HQ | Min. 2 days on-site (post-onboarding) long-term engagement preferred
