Sweep is hiring an Intern Platform & Sustainability Expert for a 6 months internship, starting April 2026, to work on our enterprise climate ESG program software.
In this role, you'll support our Delivery Team and work closely with our Platform & Sustainability experts as they guide customers through their sustainability data transformation journeys. Your primary focus will be helping customers meet their disclosure requirements predominantly CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) while supporting them in leveraging Sweep's platform to manage their carbon and ESG goals.

You'll work with a diverse portfolio of customers across various industries, giving you broad exposure to sustainability challenges and disclosure frameworks. Beyond customer-facing work, you'll also contribute to our internal workstreams and the continuous improvement of our delivery processes, helping us refine how we work and share knowledge across our internal teams, our customers and partners. You'll learn directly from experienced team members, building hands-on skills in project coordination, customer onboarding, disclosure reporting, and sustainability best practices.
At Sweep, we're always looking for great talent, and while this is an internship position, should the timing be right, there may be opportunities to join the team on a more permanent basis.
To be more specific, this includes:
Customer Implementation & Technical Support
Support customers in meeting their disclosure requirements, with a primary focus on CDP reporting.
Be supported in building advanced knowledge of the Sweep platform and disclosure frameworks.
Assist with onboarding and implementation projects, guided by experienced Platform & Sustainability specialists.
Participate in collaborative sessions to help configure and tailor the Sweep platform to specific disclosure and ESG use cases.
Support data integration, platform customization, and automation tasks.
Help troubleshoot data integration issues and suggest solutions.
Platform Learning & Customer Training
Help deliver training sessions focused on disclosure reporting and platform capabilities.
Support the creation of enablement content for customers navigating disclosure requirements.
Adapt your communication style to fit each customer's needs and learning preferences.
Guide customers in understanding carbon tracking, ESG metrics, and reporting requirements using Sweep.Share best practices to help customers get the most from the platform.
Project Coordination & Teamwork
Support project planning, timeline tracking, and deliverable follow-up using internal tools (e.g., Float, Notion).
Attend meetings and ensure key actions are followed up.
Communicate regularly with team members, partners, and customer contacts.
Help ensure smooth handover to customer success teams after implementation.
Sustainability Advisory & Product Feedback
Grow your expertise in carbon accounting methodologies and disclosure frameworks through hands-on application.
Contribute to product roadmap discussions by translating customer needs into feedback.
Stay curious about ESG trends, disclosure requirements, and regulations share insights with your team.
Help explain how Sweep's features support customer sustainability and disclosure outcomes.
Customer Relationship & Success Focus
Build strong working relationships customer project teams through clear communication and reliable support.
Contribute to high customer satisfaction by being proactive, responsive, and positive.
Help resolve challenges during implementation, escalating issues when necessary.
Support Sweep’s mission by helping all customers become confident, long-term users and advocates of our platform.

Qualifications
You’re a recent graduate or final-year student seeking a 6-month internship ( Start of April to end of September 2026) n business, environmental science, sustainability, or a related field
You have a strong interest in sustainability and climate change
You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you can make an immediate impact
You are tech-savy and comfortable upskilling and mastering new IT tools.
You have working knowledge of carbon accounting methodologies, ESG reporting frameworks, and ideally disclosure requirements (CDP is a plus)
You are eager to learn more about ESG, carbon accounting, and climate tech
You're excited to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion
You communicate clearly and enjoy helping others succeed
You’re organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a team as well as independently
You are proficient in English and in French
Previous experience in customer-facing roles, project work, in the customer sector or sustainability initiatives is a bonus, but not required
