We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our growing Data team.

***This role is offered on a hybrid working pattern, with the expectations of a minimum of two days per week in the office in Basingstoke, Hampshire. ***

The role

As Business Analyst you will deliver key data driven business insights. You will follow agile methodologies, working at the intersection between business and data analysis, capturing and translating business requirements into meaningful deliverables.

You will work closely with the Enterprise Systems Team to ensure valid, consistent datasets are used to deliver clear and scalable reporting to all areas of the business

Key duties:

Collaborating with stakeholders to capture and document clear, actionable requirements.
Translating business needs into well‑defined User Stories with data‑driven acceptance criteria aligned to Agile delivery practices.
Creating test scripts and supporting validation of data solutions alongside stakeholders.
Contributing to project planning activities and help manage and prioritise the delivery backlog.
Providing 1st and 2nd line support for data products and reporting applications.
Using data to validate findings, quantify issues, and support informed decision‑making.
Working closely with the Data Team to create and maintain scalable, high‑quality data solutions.
Creating business processes diagrams using BPMN
Building end‑to‑end data solutions that surface meaningful patterns and translate them into actionable insights that support business decision‑making.
Collaborating with technical teams to ensure accurate, consistent datasets underpin reporting and operational processes.

What are we looking for?

As Business Analyst you will have the following.

Key skills

Degree in Business, Mathematics or Computer Science.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong Excel, T-SQL and Power BI skills.
Experience of working in an Agile Development team utilising DevOps CI/CD change management frameworks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working in a manufacturing organisation
Understanding of enterprise applications: ERP, CRM, PLM EPM
Good understanding visualisation techniques, and familiarity with BPMN framework
Understanding of data management best practise
