Intern will analyze data sets, build reports and dashboards, develop
data science models, and identify actionable insights that inform
strategic business decisions. The intern will collaborate with
cross-functional teams-including finance, actuarial, underwriting,
marketing, customer experience, IT, and health analytics-to understand
business needs and help deliver data-driven solutions. This role offers
hands-on experience with BI tools, data visualization, data science
algorithms, and exposure to real-world business challenges.

**Compensation**
****\$26.50/hour****
**What you\'ll do**
Consult with internal stakeholders to understand business needs
relevant to data analytics.
Collect and clean relevant data from various sources.
Analyze historical data for trends, patterns, and insights.
Create predictive analytics for scenario forecasting.
Develop data visualizations and interactive dashboards for internal
stakeholders.
Report key findings to internal stakeholders, communicating advanced
mathematical ideas in easily understood terms.
Prepare documentation, process maps, and modular software for use in
various Business Intelligence applications.
Prepare and/or design new reports and programs as needed.
Regularly correspond with and answer questions from supervision and
management concerning the systems maintained by Business
Intelligence.
Present summer projects in a final presentation to leadership.
Complete special projects as assigned
**What you need**
Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate in a Bachelor of
Science or Bachelor of Arts program with at least 1 year of study in
one or more of the following majors: mathematics, computer science,
data science, finance, management information systems, or related
field.
Requires a minimum GPA of 2.75.
Need to be self-motivated and be able to carry out activities with a
minimum of supervision.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Requires experience with at least one object-oriented programming
language. Python is preferred.
Experience with SQL is preferred.
Ability to work with and learn various computer applications and
programs utilized by the area.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization tool
is preferred.
Communicate effectively with employees in all organizational levels.
Have a proven record of low absenteeism.
