We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to lead infrastructure operations, security, and compliance for a growing healthcare billing organization. You will own the health of our AWS-hosted production environment and Microsoft cloud ecosystem while ensuring strict adherence to HIPAA and FERPA standards.

The Role at a Glance

Location: Remote or Hybrid
Focus: AWS Infrastructure, Microsoft 365/Entra ID, Endpoint Security (Intune/Defender)
Impact: Primary owner of infrastructure, identity management, and backups for a ~50-employee org.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure: Manage AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM) and oversee the health of our production web application.
Identity & Security: Administer Entra ID, M365, and Dynamics CRM; enforce least-privilege access and MFA.
Endpoint Management: Use Microsoft Intune and Defender for zero-touch provisioning and threat remediation across Windows and macOS.
Compliance & Continuity: Maintain HIPAA/FERPA safeguards, manage Rubrik backups, and lead disaster recovery testing.
Operations: Support Power BI/Fabric environments and provide Tier 2/3 technical escalation.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: 5+ years in Systems/Cloud Administration.
Tech Stack: Proficiency in AWS, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Defender for Endpoint.
Compliance: Background in healthcare (HIPAA), billing, or other highly regulated sectors.
Skills: Strong documentation habits and experience with backup platforms (Rubrik preferred).
