DBI headquarter is in Rueil-Malmaison, greater Paris area, with subsidiaries across Europe (DACH, Italy, Iberia, Eastern Europe). Its Supply Chain center (manufacturing and logistics) is based in Autun, Burgundy, where more than 5 billion tights have been produced since DIM was founded! To join us in this adventure, the DtoC Merchandising Department is recruiting a DtoC Senior Merchandise Planner (M/F) - permanent contract.
In a context of new job creation, the DtoC Senior Merchandise Planner defines, develops, and implements the DIM Merchandise strategies. You will play a key role in defining, planning and steering the assortments for DIM by optimizing inventory and maximizing both commercial and financial performance.
The main missions are as follow :
Strategic Assortment Planning:
- Develop merchandising plans aligned with growth objectives, lingerie market trends, and the unique characteristics of the DIM brand.
- Strike an optimal balance between volume, variety, and profitability in the collections.
Work closely with design, buying, and marketing teams to ensure the offer is coherent and competitive.
Analyze past sales performance and current market trends to develop accurate frame and collection structure for each product category and collection.
Build and manage product and assortment plans to ensure optimal SKU performance based on financial plans, historical trends, and market demands.
Sales and Performance Analysis & Monitoring:
Track sales, margins and key performance indicators to continuously adjust the size and makeup of collections.
Monitor the performance of each collection and analyze sales data to make informed decisions on future assortments.
Provide detailed reports on sales trends needs to support effective decision-making from a product and assortment perspective.
Buying plan Management:
Create the seasonal Buying Plan, ensure its reliability and monitor it. Analyze variances, identify growth levers.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to defining the processes and tools necessary for merchandise planning along with your peers. Seek ongoing enhancements.
Product Knowledge:
Help build product knowledge among DIM boutique teams. Collaborate closely with Visual Merchandising to optimize product performance on the sales floor.
Brand Alignment:
Ensure all products and collections align with the brand’s core values, vision, and customer expectations.
Maintain a strong focus on brand consistency across all products and seasonal offerings.
Profile :
Experience:
Minimum 5 to 10 years in a similar role, ideally in lingerie or fashion industry, with merchandise planning experience in a DtoC or omnichannel environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in merchandising planning tools (advanced Excel, ERP/PLM systems, sales forecasting systems). Strong understanding of brand development, product assortment planning, and retail sales strategies.
Analytical & Business Sense:
Strong ability to analyze complex data, identify growth opportunities, and optimize assortment profitability. Solution-oriented with a focus on results and customer centric.
Personal Qualities:
Natural leadership, excellent communication. Highly rigorous in organization and project management. Energetic, proactive, with an analytical mindset. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
