Lead AI Engineer | AI Products & Agents | 2 days per week hybrid in Central London | £100,000 + bonus + benefits

Method Resourcing are proud to be partnering with a highly respected financial institution with who are investing heavily in AI to transform how their teams operate. This is not a proof-of-concept lab role. This is about shipping real AI products into production and embedding them into the heart of the business.

The Role: You’ll join a growing AI function delivering a greenfield AI agent platform designed to change how stakeholders interact with data, content, and internal systems. This role blends deep hands-on engineering (around 70%) with leadership and stakeholder engagement (around 30%). You’ll be building, deploying, and scaling AI-driven products, including AI agents, in cloud environments, ensuring they are production-ready, commercially viable, and aligned to business objectives.

This is a role for someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to build - you’ll be expected to take initiative, speak to stakeholders, and uncover opportunities for AI-driven improvement.

Your Skillset Will Include

Proven experience delivering AI products into production (AI agents, LLM-powered applications, or similar).
Strong hands-on engineering capability (Python and modern cloud deployment practices).
Experience deploying to the cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP).
Containerisation and orchestration experience.
Experience working in or deploying into cloud environments.
Strong communication skills — able to explain technical decisions and commercial trade-offs.
A proactive mindset -comfortable engaging stakeholders independently and driving initiatives forward.
