Assist with monthly management accounts and contribute to financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Support budgeting, forecasting and wider planning processes.
Provide general administrative and operational support to the Finance team.

Skills and Experience

HNC or HND in Accounting is desirable, although candidates qualified by experience or AAT will also be considered.
Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or Accounts Assistant role.
Background in an SME environment is beneficial, with construction experience viewed favourably.
Strong understanding of core accounting principles and transactional processes.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Confident user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Xero is an advantage.
Strong communicator who can work independently and as part of a team.
Proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Why This Role?

This is a great chance to build on your existing experience, take ownership of key finance processes and play a central role in a growing organisation. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external partners, strengthen financial controls and contribute to the smooth running of the finance function.
