Job title: Investment Client Reporting Analyst
Role Summary:
Provide accurate, timely investment reporting to institutional and retail clients, acting as liaison between portfolio, risk, and client teams. Translate performance data into client‑centric insights, ensure regulatory and ESG compliance, and drive operational efficiencies in reporting processes.
Expectations:
Deliver high‑quality reports (fund fact sheets, performance dashboards, presentations) with precise data integrity. Resolve client queries efficiently, support regulatory change projects, and implement automation improvements. Maintain robust controls to mitigate operational risk and ensure governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, validate, and distribute investment reports, fact sheets, and client presentations.
- Interpret portfolio performance, attribution, and risk metrics in collaboration with investment teams.
- Ensure all reports meet regulatory standards, ESG reporting requirements, and industry best practices.
- Serve as primary contact for client reporting queries, coordinating with portfolio managers, risk, and relationship teams.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to increase accuracy and turnaround.
- Address client inquiries regarding performance, fund composition, and market trends.
- Participate in projects related to reporting enhancements, regulatory changes, or system migrations.
Required Skills:
- Advanced Excel (VBA, macros, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
- Data visualisation and reporting tools; experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or Morningstar advantageous.
- Knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data extraction and manipulation preferred.
- Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Deep understanding of investment performance metrics, attribution, risk reporting, and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset and continuous improvement orientation.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or ACA are an asset but not mandatory.
