About the Role

In this long term contract role as Senior Business Analyst, reporting to the Team Lead, you will take responsibility for all aspects of the North Sea Engineering forecast, provide MI to the Decommissioning, Operational and Management Teams to support performance management and decision making, and ensure that accurate business assumptions are incorporated in the accounting and forecasting processes.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for all aspects of the North Sea Engineering forecast.
Provide MI to the Decommissioning, Operational and Management Teams to support performance management and decision making.
Ensure that accurate business assumptions are incorporated in the accounting and forecasting processes.
Provide leadership and support to less experienced members of the team.
Evaluate current processes and procedures, making recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications

Extensive experience (min 10 years) within a similar role.
Good working knowledge of an oil and gas E&P business including strong awareness of commercial arrangements.

Required Skills

Able to build effective working relationships across the wider business and the finance department.
Able to communicate succinctly across functions and at all organisational levels.

Preferred Skills

Holding a professional accountancy qualification is preferred but not essential.
