Eden Scott is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-known Scottish organisation to recruit a Finance Analyst on a six-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing finance team and contribute to key transformation initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Identify and implement improvements within the newly adopted cloud-based accounting system to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
Analyse and resolve issues arising from the implementation of a new billing system to ensure smooth financial operations
Reconcile financial reports to detect anomalies, investigate discrepancies, and prepare journal entries to correct financial data in the system
Assist with billing processes, including invoice preparation, validation, and coordination with relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely billing

Requirements

Good experience across billings and testings
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent IT literacy with experience of working with cloud-based accounting systems
Strong attention to detail skills
Ability to work well both to own initiative and as part of a team
