Construction Project Manager
Location: Edinburgh
Contract Length: 12-month initial contract
Rate: £314 per day (Inside IR35)
Working Pattern: Flexible, 35 hours per weekOverview
Lorien are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to deliver project management and contract administration services on high-value and/or complex new build, refurbishment, and maintenance construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered to agreed time, cost, and quality requirements within a complex operational environment.Key Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end project management and contract administration across multiple construction projects.
Prepare and compile accurate contract documentation.
Manage consultants and contractors to ensure value for money and successful project delivery.
Coordinate technical specialists and stakeholders to define requirements and ensure compliance with legislative standards.
Produce project reporting including progress, cost, design reviews, inspections, audits, and defect management.
Review contractor and consultant submissions and prepare approval and decision papers as required.
Support other project managers with briefs, specifications, tender assessments, inspections, and commissioning.
Mentor project management resources and manage Assistant Project Managers where applicable.
Essential Requirements

Honours Degree or Master's Degree in a construction-related discipline.
Chartered status, or working towards Chartered status, with a relevant professional body.
Extensive postgraduate experience delivering complex or high-value construction projects across multi-site or operational environments.
Strong experience in contract management, technical documentation, design reviews, inspections, and defect analysis.
