Job Specifications

As an Applications Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure web applications. You will work across the entire stack, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build robust server-side APIs and sophisticated database structures that support the company’s business goals.

Main Responsibilities

End-to-End Development: Design and maintain efficient, scalable web applications across the full stack.
Infrastructure & API Design: Implement server-side APIs and database structures to support high-performance functionality.
Clean Code Standards: Write modular, well-documented code and perform thorough debugging and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Performance Optimization: Ensure a seamless user experience across all devices/browsers through rigorous performance tuning.
Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to contribute to technical strategy and discussions.
Deployment: Assist in the deployment and maintenance of applications on production servers within a Microsoft ecosystem.

Technical "Must-Haves"

To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience with:

Frontend: React.js, Next.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS.
Backend: .NET Core / C#, Node.js, and Entity Framework.
Database: SQL Server (Advanced T-SQL, Indexing, Performance Tuning, and ERD).
Cloud & DevOps: Azure (Entra, Logic Apps, Data Factory), CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform).
Web Servers: IIS and RESTful API design principles.
Tools: Proficient with Git and Azure DevOps.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Strong understanding of Web Security best practices and Agile methodologies.
Proven ability to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player.

Nice to Haves

Direct experience within a Manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with MS Dynamics GP.
Experience with Foy Systems EPICS.
Exposure to SmartConnect or JSReports.

Salary:

$100,000 - $130,000/year

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Mississauga, with a standard schedule of five days per week.
