Job Title: Senior Project Manager (UK)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of complex projects in the payments and financial industry. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with organizational policies and customer requirements, and drive projects to successful completion within scope, time, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor all contractual commitments, ensuring they are tracked and communicated effectively with customers.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and proposals.
Oversee all project phases, including research, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and post-rollout review.
Monitor project budgets, scope changes, and resource forecasting to ensure financial health.
Establish a project governance framework to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues through RAID logs.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and contractual commitments.
Provide accurate project Estimated Time to Completion (ETC) for revenue forecasting.
Maintain project management data in systems such as Jira and Salesforce.
Approve timesheets and produce weekly project updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers and project stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with clients to select appropriate project methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile (Scrum/Kanban), or hybrid models.
Serve as Scrum Master when utilizing Agile methodologies, ensuring smooth execution and stakeholder alignment.
Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
Adhere to all corporate policies, including the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Experience & Skills Required:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
7+ years of client project management experience, with at least 5 years in the payments or financial services industry.
Formal project management training is a plus
