Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada (Onsite)

Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Project Manager on behalf of our client in Toronto, ON. This role involves leading complex IT initiatives within a structured public-sector environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing full project lifecycles, coordinating cross-functional teams, and working within government governance and PMO frameworks. This position requires excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills to successfully deliver technology-driven projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of business cases, project roadmaps, and executive briefing materials.
Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
Coordinate technical teams and stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure project alignment and delivery.
Develop and maintain project plans, status reports, and PMO documentation.
Guide projects through enterprise architecture governance and approval processes.
Facilitate requirements gathering, solution analysis, and cost evaluations.
Provide regular project updates and strategic insights to stakeholders and leadership teams.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in IT project management, delivering complex technology initiatives.
Experience working within government or public-sector project governance frameworks.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and project management best practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple project priorities.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with enterprise technologies such as .NET / ASP.NET, Microsoft Windows, MS SQL Server, Java, and Oracle.
Experience working with Team Foundation Server (TFS) or similar development and collaboration tools.
Recent experience developing IT roadmaps, business cases, and strategic project deliverables.
Experience advising senior stakeholders and decision-makers in complex organizational environments.
