Key Responsibilities

Lab Setup

Prepare and set up materials, equipment, and chemicals for science classes.
Ensure labs are ready before students arrive.
Follow teacher instructions for experiment preparation.

Classroom Support

Assist the teacher during lab activities.
Help students follow instructions and use equipment properly.
Support safe laboratory practices at all times.

Cleaning & Organization

Clean, wash, and store lab equipment after use.
Keep the laboratory and prep areas clean and organized.
Dispose of waste safely and properly.

Inventory

Maintain and monitor inventory of lab supplies and equipment.
Inform the teacher or supervisor when items need to be reordered.
Keep simple digital inventory records.

Requirements

Ability to read and speak English.
Basic computer skills (Google Docs/Sheets or Microsoft Word/Excel).
Organized, dependable, and able to follow instructions.
Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Basic laboratory knowledge preferred, but training will be provided.

Other duties as assigned by the science department and/or principal
