Boeing's Enterprise Product Security Engineering team is seeking Product Security Intern Analysts for the 2026 Summer Internship cycle. This position is intended to provide a 10-to-12-week Internship Experience with statement of work in the Product Security/Cyber Security Domain area of academic study

Key responsibilities

Assist the integration of security and resiliency into products and services across the lifecycle to meet certifications and customer requirements.
Research, collect, and help test technical data for system-level product security concepts in projected operational environments.
Support basic product security risk assessments, attack-surface and vulnerability analyses, and security audits of applications and application stacks.
Assist with analysis, triage, aggregation, escalation, and reporting of product security and anti-tamper information, including identifying attack indicators and potential breaches.
Participate in incident coordination activities and gather supporting data for correlation and trend analysis.
Help analyze malware and attacker tactics to inform and improve detection capabilities.
Prepare basic technical reports, summaries, and briefings for engineering and program stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow established security processes and tools.

Learning outcomes / intern deliverables

Hands-on exposure to product security techniques and tooling.
Practical experience performing vulnerability analyses, triage, and incident support workflows.
Development of basic malware/attacker behavior analysis skills and threat indicator usage.
Written technical reports and an end-of-internship briefing summarizing work, findings, and recommendations.

Some of these positions are hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Export Control Requirement:

These positions must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Additionally, some positions may require the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Minimum qualifications

Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field with a graduation date on or after August 2026.
Strong academic performance (GPA 3.0 Minimum)
Coursework or practical experience in one or more: programming (Python, Java, C/C++), data analysis, databases/SQL, operating systems (Linux), networking, or security fundamentals.
Familiarity with basic cyber concepts: vulnerability types, attack surface, malware basics, and incident response concepts.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple tasks.
Availability for a 10-12-wee
