Title: Front Desk Administrator

Location - Charlottetown, PEI

Duration: 12-18 months

Pay: $18-$19 CAD/Hr

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Front Desk Administrator is responsible for coordinating all order desk activities and ensuring sales orders are processed in a timely, professional and error free manner. This position will provide customer service to both internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Processing customer orders: PO receipt to shipment and billing, within defined timelines.

Working collaboratively with Sales and Marketing CSR to ensure all orders are reviewed and approved before posting.

Working with staff to manage the backorder report to ensure orders are filled, deadlines are met, and all parties are informed.

Maintaining the customer master file and ensuring all documentation is retained.

Enforcing the approved credit terms for each customer.

Reviewing and approving any transportation invoices related to outgoing shipments.

Managing any special requests received from customs or other government organizations.

Providing support to all areas of the Administrative Services Department as requested.

Adhere to Health and Safety Policy as outlined in CP0010 Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Statements of Principle, and Responsibilities.

Additional duties assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor’s request.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Post-Secondary Education with a diploma in an applicable area of study considered an asset.

Experience:

?One year of experience working within a regulated environment.

?Knowledge of sales order entry programs an asset.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

?Proficient communicator, both written and oral.

?Excellent organizational skills.

?Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

?Excellent interpersonal and team skills.

?Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.

?Efficient at prioritization and scheduling.
