The User Acquisition, Team Lead plays a strategic role in the evolution of UA operations as marketing efforts continue to scale. The position’s primary objective is to lead key UA initiatives that drive impactful growth, including reaching new audiences through emerging media, global expansion, and creative testing.
Reporting to the VP of User Acquisition, this role requires a unique balance of skill in creativity, analytical thinking, people management, and business development.
Responsibilities:
•Lead a sub-team within User Acquisition to achieve forecasted performance and scale emerging media, global expansion, and creative testing effectiveness. This includes team leadership and governance to drive tactical execution under the Director’s larger UA strategy.
•Directly manage campaigns for a portfolio of media sources, critically analyze campaign performance, and develop a structured approach of optimization to achieve ROAS and user quality goals at-scale.
•Fully own and level-up the creative testing infrastructure to yield high performance and maximize conversion, including (but not limited to): prioritization, macro/micro-testing strategy, establishing best practices across various media types (ex. Video for Mobile, Video for CTV, Playables, and Statics).
•Act as a thought leader on new and emerging media channels that may represent opportunities for Mistplay and execute on an evolving roadmap of media source experimentation and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure infrastructure, tracking, and operational support.
•Work closely with finance to maintain monthly budgets for innovation and experimentation and manage campaign activity for new and emerging media sources including mobile web, CTV, podcasts, creative partnerships, and additional exploratory channels.
•Actively report updates, insights, and performance on a regular cadence to the Director of UA and other company stakeholders.
•Establish and manage strategic relationships with new potential media partners to identify opportunities and drive campaign performance.
Requirements:
•5+ years of experience in performance/growth marketing with robust experience in Mobile UA/Growth
•Strong knowledge and thought leadership of mobile UA landscape and best practices
•Proven track record meeting and exceeding performance goals
•A creative, collaborative, analytical, and growth marketing mindset that enables agile problem solving for challenges that arise within UA or cross-functionally
•Ability to make data-driven decisions based on performance insights and apply them operationally on both a strategic and executional level
•1-2 years of experience in people management, mentorship, and training of junior and experienced marketers a plus, but not required
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Enthusiastic and passionate
•Outgoing with strong relationship building skills
