JOB DESCRIPTION

Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Visual Designer to join a large banking client on a 6 month contract, hybrid once a week in downtown Toronto. The successful candidate will join a team working on public sites projects alongside UX Designers, Content Designers, and developers to lead the visual design tasks within projects. Previous experience with design tools including Figma and Adobe, and strong knowledge of wireframes is essential to succeed in this role. All candidates must have a portfolio to be considered for this role. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- 5-7 years experience with user-centred design principles and design systems - Strong experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite for designs - Experience conducting page audits, competitor analyses, and creating mock-ups - Experience with a CMS tool such as AEM, Contentful, WordPress, etc. - Strong understanding of CSS and HTML and ability to check for accessibility - understanding how it works to coordinate with developers - Experience building components and libraries in design systems - Strong communication skills both written and verbally

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Previous banking experience or financial industry experience - Experience working on rebranding projects and pitching mood boards/design directions to stakeholders
