Senior Front-End Developer (React / TypeScript)

Optomi, in partnership with a leading automotive enterprise, is seeking a Senior Front-End Developer to join a high-impact digital innovation team focused on building scalable UX component libraries and modern front-end architecture used across multiple enterprise applications.

This team is responsible for developing and maintaining a centralized design system that enables product teams to rapidly build consistent user interfaces using reusable components. The platform currently includes 50+ UI components and is evolving toward a composable, low-code style architecture designed to significantly accelerate application development across the organization.

Location

• Hybrid – onsite 3 days per week in Plano, TX

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable UI components within a centralized component library

• Partner with UX designers and product teams to develop scalable and accessible components

• Contribute to modular front-end architecture used across multiple applications

• Improve testing coverage and help establish stronger testing practices

• Support adoption of the design system across engineering teams

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional front-end development experience

• Strong experience with React and TypeScript

• Experience building or maintaining component libraries or design systems

• Strong understanding of front-end architecture, modular design, and accessibility standards

• Experience with modern front-end testing frameworks

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern package management

• Experience working in Agile or Lean development environments
