Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Role Overview
We are partnering with a well-established technology organization building and operating large-scale, cloud-native platforms used across highly complex environments. This team is focused on modernizing infrastructure, improving deployment reliability, and enabling engineering teams to ship high-quality software faster and more securely.
This role sits at the center of infrastructure strategy and execution. You will design, build, and evolve automated CI/CD and cloud infrastructure solutions while serving as a technical leader across development, QA, and operations teams. The work is hands-on, impactful, and highly visible, with a strong emphasis on automation, scalability, security, and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD
Build and manage infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation, SAM templates, Terraform, and CDK
Automate application deployment, scaling, and lifecycle management within AWS
Partner closely with software engineering, QA, and operations teams to improve the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle
Lead infrastructure initiatives focused on automation, scalability, monitoring, security, and reliability
Implement and manage logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to ensure system health and performance
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues across environments
Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, reinforcing best practices and knowledge sharing
Stay current with emerging DevOps tools, cloud services, and industry trends to continuously improve processes
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure role
Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD for build, test, and deployment automation
Deep knowledge of AWS services including EC2, ECS, S3, IoT Core, Lambda, and IAM
Proven experience with AWS CloudFormation and SAM templates
Hands-on experience using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources
Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Preferred Experience
AWS DevOps Engineer or other relevant AWS certifications
Experience supporting microservices and serverless architectures
Familiarity with cloud security best practices and tooling
Exposure to Scaled Agile (SAFe) or other enterprise agile frameworks
