Job Title: Project Coordinator – Safety

Pay $20-27ph INC - $16-22ph T4

Contract: 6 months

Overview

The Project Coordinator – Safety provides project coordination and administrative support for projects related to business process improvements and safety initiatives. This role supports the full project lifecycle to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, organize, and maintain project documentation, reports, and records following document management standards.
Support data tracking, analysis, and reporting using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft 365.
Maintain organized digital workspaces and documentation using SharePoint and collaboration tools.
Assist with project coordination throughout the project lifecycle including planning, execution, and reporting.
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and support informed decision-making.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by documenting processes and helping develop operational standards.
Support workflow improvements, automation initiatives, and process documentation to improve efficiency.
Ensure project activities align with safety standards, timelines, and project requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
Occasionally travel to project sites as required.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 4 years of experience in project coordination, administration, or project support roles.
Post-secondary education in Business, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
Good understanding of project management principles and coordination practices.
Experience using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project.
Familiarity with SAP and SharePoint is an asset.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
