Job Specifications

A leading logistics company is looking for a Functional Data Analyst to join their IT Quality Assurance team. You will play a vital role in ensuring stable operational performance by monitoring, analysing, and improving application and infrastructure health across a complex technology landscape.

This is a dynamic, hands-on role working with advanced monitoring tooling, log analysis, and data visualisation — with direct impact on system quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain application log environments (e.g. via LogStash) to ensure operational stability
Analyse log files across multiple systems to detect errors, interface issues, and root causes
Build dashboards to visualise trends, version health, error codes, and performance metrics
Identify cross-system issues and contribute proactively to quality improvements
Support ad hoc analysis and troubleshooting requests from internal stakeholders
Collaborate closely with IT & Integration and QA work streams

Technology & Tools

Dynatrace (APM / observability platform) required, minimum 3 years
LogStash / ELK Stack, log ingestion and analysis
PowerBI, dashboard creation and reporting
Mix of in-house and third-party software solutions

Your Profile

BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience
Experience in a demanding, delivery-focused environment
Background in IT infrastructure monitoring, Dynatrace experience is a must
PowerBI experience is a strong plus
Strong analytical and organisational skills; critical thinker
Team player with a hands-on mentality in a fast-paced environment
Excellent English

This is a freelance assignment with a first contract of 6 months.
