Your Mission
The Senior Marketing Strategist owns the day-to-day execution and overall elevation of Highwood's marketing programs, ensuring consistent content, event support, paid performance, and campaign launches that drive measurable pipeline impact. This role serves as the critical link between internal subject matter experts, contractors, Sales, and partners, keeping our channels active, our messaging aligned to company objectives, and our go-to-market initiatives delivered on time and with quality.
Reporting to and under the direction of the Director of Marketing, the Senior Marketing Strategist will collaborate with and support the goals of leadership across the organization, building campaigns and managing programs that align to their priorities and drive results across the business.
Core Responsibilities:
Own the editorial calendar and weekly content workflow, coordinating internal SMEs and contractors to maintain consistent publishing across priority channels including web, email, LinkedIn, and sales enablement.
Manage third-party event and hosted event logistics from planning through execution, including sponsorship assets, hosted events, booth needs, collateral, staffing support, and post-event follow-up.
Lead paid channel programs by owning briefs, ensuring accurate audience targeting aligned to ICP, and running a regular optimization and performance reporting cadence.
Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns in partnership with Sales, the Director of Marketing, and the Director of Product, managing timelines, asset checklists, and channel rollout from launch through post-campaign analysis.
Maintain governance over budgets, tracking discipline (UTMs, attribution), and lead quality feedback loops with Sales to drive continuous improvement.
Produce performance reporting, post-campaign summaries, and actionable recommendations that connect marketing activity to pipeline contribution and revenue impact.

About You
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7-10 years of marketing experience (industrial/energy/technical services is an asset).
• Proven experience running a content pipeline with SMEs and external contractors.
• Experience planning and supporting third-party events (sponsored and attended).
• Working knowledge of paid digital channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Google) and MQL funnel mechanics.
