In this role, you will significantly impact our technical sales and expansion efforts by engaging early in conversations with customers. Your expertise will facilitate faster integration and solutioning, enabling prospects to confidently move toward a 'technical yes.' This position requires a deep understanding of APIs and a consultative mindset to align customer challenges with our product's capabilities. Your contributions will help streamline and enhance the buying experience for our clients.

Accountabilities

Join high-priority deals early as the technical partner to lead discovery and solutioning.
Translate customer requirements into a proposed approach with integration plans and risk assessments.
Accelerate technical sales by refining the process from discovery to terms.
Support post-sale expansion and adoption by collaborating on customer roadmaps.
Develop solutions playbooks and reference architecture to standardize processes.
Maintain a knowledge base and product catalog for internal use.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address recurring issues and inform product roadmap.

Requirements

5+ years experience in technical solutioning in a pre-sales environment.
Strong technical foundation, ideally with a degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field.
Experience working with APIs in various capacities such as selling, implementing, or supporting.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills with the ability to uncover underlying customer needs.
Comfortable transitioning between pre-sales and post-sales contexts.
High level of ownership and efficient production of resources like playbooks and guides.
Adaptable to a startup environment with evolving processes.
