Job Title: Senior Java Developer

Location: Alpharetta (Onsite Hybrid – 3 days/week)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java-based distributed systems and modern backend development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable microservices, implementing multithreaded applications, integrating messaging systems, and optimizing performance for enterprise applications.

This role requires strong technical depth, design capabilities, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot

Build and enhance microservices-based architecture

Develop and consume RESTful Web Services

Implement and optimize multithreaded and concurrent applications

Work with messaging systems such as Kafka / MQ

Integrate backend systems with MS SQL and other relational databases

Perform performance tuning and optimization of applications

Participate in system design discussions and architecture decisions

Collaborate with frontend teams (Angular/React) for API integrations

Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot

Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production support

Communicate effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Required Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8/11/17+)

Hands-on experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot

Experience in developing REST APIs

Strong understanding of Multi-threading & Concurrency

Experience with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka

Strong SQL skills and experience with MS SQL / Database Integration

Experience in Performance Engineering & Optimization

Strong system design and problem-solving skills

Basic to intermediate exposure to Angular or React (good to have)

Experience using AI development tools like GitHub Copilot (nice to have)

Soft Skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Ability to work in a hybrid onsite environment

Ability to explain technical concepts clearly

Team player with proactive problem-solving mindset
