Job Title: Automation Test Engineer (Selenium)

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Contract

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong experience in Selenium to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver
Build and maintain automation frameworks (TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber)
Perform functional, regression, and integration testing
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / Azure DevOps)
Identify, track, and report defects using JIRA or similar tools
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives)

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver
Proficiency in Java or Python
Experience with TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD)
Knowledge of API testing (Postman / RestAssured)
Experience with Git and CI/CD tools
Good understanding of Agile methodology

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Banking or Financial domain
Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter)
Knowledge of SQL and database validation
