Creative Intern (Art Director, Graphic Artist, or Copywriter)
We are recruiting a Creative Intern. Candidates may specialize in Art Direction, Graphic Art/Graphic Design, or Copywriting. Portfolio required.

Advantage Solutions is hiring for our 2026 Summer Internship Program. This individual will be with us for 10 weeks (June 1st- August 7th, 2026). Internships provide students with challenging, relevant work experience in their field of interest as well as introduce them to additional career opportunities. Internships may lead to future opportunities within the Company, although there are no guarantees for full-time employment.
Position Summary
The Art Director Intern will work with our award-winning creative team. As an intern, you’ll experience the day-to-day life of an Art Director – from brainstorming, to concept ideation, to tactical execution – and interact with account, strategy, media and project managers. Each intern will have a dedicated mentor to provide guidance and you’ll get to pick their brains on concepting, design, storytelling, the creation and application of brand standards and more.
The Graphic Artist intern will work closely with Graphic Supervisors and Senior Graphic Artists in the creation of digital shelf PDP and digital retail media ads. As an intern, you’ll experience the day-to-day life of a studio Graphic Artist – creating designs from key visuals and toolkits and preparing and delivering files to vendors - and interact with copywriters, art directors, proofreaders, and project managers. Each intern will have a dedicated mentor to provide guidance and you’ll get to pick their brains on design best practices, executional standards, tools, techniques and more.
The Copywriter Intern will collaborate with art directors, other writers, and creative directors on crafting and adapting messages across different points of communication in advertising and marketing materials. You will need to be able to write in an array of different tones, personalities and formats while understanding how to customize communication across a variety of channels including social, in-store, digital and more.
General Qualifications
Rising Senior, Graduating in May or Grad Student
Majors: Design, Journalism, English, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design
Available for 40 hours a week, 9-5, for the 10-week program (June 1 - Aug 7)
Come from a place of curiosity and wanting to learn more
Preferable that they've already had an internship
General Expectations

Complete an individual project supporting the team you are assigned to
Position is remote, but there will be travel to the Advantage offices 2 times over the program. If you live in Chicago or Boston area, you could go to the AMP office on Wednesdays
Will complete trainings to fill in any gaps in the general tech used by agency to gain proficiency
Skills Beyond General Expectations
Have a portfolio
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite of Software
Experience with an agency or related field. Graphic Artist - Have a working knowledge of design skills, pixel perfection, file preparation and formatting
The salary range for this role is $20.00 per hour

Travel and/or Driving Requirements
Travel to St. Louis is required for two specific weeks:
Kickoff Week: The week of June 1st
Closing Week: The week of August 3rd
Transportation and lodging for these trips will be provided by Advantage Solutions.
