A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a UI/UX Developer.
Position type: Fulltime - Contract role
Duration: 12 Months
Location: San Antonio, TX
As a UI/UX Developer, You Will
Research, design, develop, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of UX designs into the JavaScript/Java codebase ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs standards
Act as designer-developer, switching hats in both the areas of design & develop, as Subject Matter Expert (SME) assisting with decision making for some high visibility on-going projects
Create clean semantic HTML markup that passes WCAG & ADA/508 Accessibility standards & compliance
Provide development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page template.
Collaborate with analysts, developers and architects for successful implementation and component requirements
Remain current on user interface framework trends and programming techniques and suggest or research on new tools and methods as needed.
Design and maintain design files, wireframes, and mock-ups. Design and develop UI and UX interfaces and assist with new user interface testing or participate in usability reviews
Hands on development on front end user frameworks (Vue.js, Angularjs, Reactjs, jQuery etc.)
Provide responsive websites apps development and support to the customer-facing design system including new components, defects, accessibility, and page templates
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
High School or GED or equivalent.
Deep experience in front-end web application development with strong hands-on programming experience with at least one language Java, JavaScript, React, VUE, Angular on LAMP/MEAN/MERN stack is required.
Experience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end user needs
Knowledge and software development with Adobe Experience Manager, SharePoint and WordPress CMS will be a plus.
Experience with creating conceptual and detailed design solutions based on end user needs.
Skills, knowledge, and experience using end to end Human centered design-HCD techniques including design, research, and usability.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
UI/UX design or web developer certifications & training.
Previous experience of the Electric and Gas Utility Industry.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or applicable business degree from an accredited university OR Relevant business technical experience.
Exposure to front end user frameworks (Vue.js, Angularjs, Reactjs, jQuery etc.).
Experience working within agile ceremonies and methodologies

Pay Range And Benefits
Pay Range*:Between $52.00 - $54.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
