POSITION OVERVIEW
Serra Brighton is seeking a dynamic, organized, and creative Marketing Communications Coordinator to support and execute marketing initiatives across our dealership locations. This role supports community outreach, grassroots marketing, event coordination, recognition programs, content creation, brand management, and digital presence maintenance. The position also supports customer experience initiatives and provides reporting and communication support as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Community Outreach and Events
Represent the dealership in the community through event attendance and grassroots marketing.
Build relationships with local partners and organizations to strengthen brand presence.
Support community involvement opportunities and ongoing local engagement.
Plan and coordinate dealership events, both customer-facing and internal.
Recognition Programs
Manage annual and ongoing recognition programs to ensure strong execution and participation.
Coordinate timelines, materials, and communications to support program success.
Brand Management and Networking
Maintain inventory of branded materials and ensure appropriate distribution.
Support consistent brand representation across all public-facing efforts.
Build and maintain a network of contacts to support dealership visibility and reputation.
Marketing Assets and Content Coordination
Oversee and organize marketing assets, including photo and video content.
Coordinate participation from internal team members for content needs.
Create promotional materials for events, sales initiatives, service campaigns, and other dealership needs, including graphics and videos.
Inventory and Photography Support
Assist in ensuring vehicles are merchandised with strong photo coverage.
Coordinate with internal teams and third parties to support timely vehicle photo needs and priorities.
OEM and Documentation Support
Maintain organized records for applicable marketing program submissions and documentation.
Track funds, maintain logs, and provide recurring summary reporting to leadership.
Digital Presence and Quality Assurance
Ensure website content is accurate, current, compliant, and functioning properly.
Perform recurring updates across prominent dealership profiles and listings.
Coordinate employee photos and website updates in partnership with internal teams.
Social Media and Online Profile Management
Update and maintain dealership social media platforms and digital profiles.
Ensure content is relevant, engaging, and aligned with brand standards.
Support consistent posting and timely updates tied to dealership priorities.
Reporting and Administrative Support
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as assigned.
Support internal and external communications, including professional emails and templates.
Assist with coordination tasks tied to vendor relationships and marketing support.
Customer Experience and Success Support
Assist in the planning and execution of recurring customer outreach campaigns.
Generate and distribute performance and follow-up reports, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
Review and optimize customer communication templates to improve clarity, consistency, and overall experience.
Additional Duties
Perform other duties as assigned by dealership leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
One to three years of experience in marketing, community outreach, and event planning.
Strong organizational and project management skills with keen attention to detail and a track record of delivering results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including experience creating professional emails, templates, and phone communications.
High-level proficiency in graphic design, video editing, and social media management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Creative thinker with a passion for positive brand promotion and strong business acumen with a passion for making data-driven decisions while providing insight on marketing and vendor strategy.
Proactive, go-getter mindset with a passion for business development through strategic communication and execution.
Comfortable using emerging technologies and AI product suites to drive efficiency in a business setting.
Preferred
Customer service experience in a professional or retail environment.
Automotive industry experience is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
