Job Specifications
I have a full time opportunity in Midtown Manhattan for an IT/PMO Project Manager to join the team for one of our top tier global investment banks. This role will help deliver complex projects under the firms AI umbrella, Software development teams and cloud based enterprise platforms.
Having the ability to professionally interact with C-suite executives is key. This position is within the PMO and supports projects in the following technology stack:
AI solution deployments
Salesforce integrations
ServiceNow enhancements
Cloud migration projects
Datawarehouse (Snowflake) improvements
*** This role is in a team of 7 and comes with a very generous base salary and bonus structure.
*** Onsite 3-4 days a week
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end execution of transformational technology projects, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget
Manage complex stakeholder environments, bridging communication between technical teams, vendors, business units, and executives
Track milestones, risks, interdependencies, and resource allocations across projects
Partner with business sponsors to drive alignment, requirements, user adoption, and training
Coordinate and lead stakeholder meetings, stand-ups, and executive briefings with well-crafted reporting dashboards
Adapt your project approach (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) based on initiative needs
Act as the connective tissue between engineering, operations, and the front office, ensuring clarity of priorities and execution
Qualifications:
At least 7 years of experience delivering enterprise software and infrastructure projects, ideally within financial services
Experience with software development, enterprise cloud deployments, and data/AI-focused projects
Comfortable switching between technical and business-facing projects—sometimes on the same day
Executive presence with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Demonstrated success in high-stakes environments with multiple concurrent initiatives
Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
Experience with management consulting, business transformation, or organizational change a strong plus
Bachelor’s degree required; PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certifications helpful but not required if you’re the real deal
As a business-facing role, the role requires in-office presence 3-4 days/week in NYC.
Exposure to AI model deployment or integration into business workflows
Experience working within a Project Management Organization, ability to create and deliver reports and updates to senior management.
