Job Specifications
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 consultant to lead client-facing Copilot readiness engagements. This role focuses on assessment, architecture, and implementation across SharePoint Online, Entra ID, Microsoft Search, and the broader M365 ecosystem. You will guide clients through modernization, governance, and content strategies that enable secure and accurate Copilot adoption.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct Copilot readiness assessments across identity, compliance, content architecture, and search indexing
• Advise clients on Entra ID configuration, conditional access paths, permission models, and identity governance required for Copilot interoperability
• Map current-state content landscapes and design future-state SharePoint Online architectures with structured metadata, taxonomy, site hierarchy, and permission inheritance
• Lead migration planning and execution from file shares and legacy repositories into SharePoint Online and OneDrive using automated tooling
• Configure and optimize Microsoft Search, including schema extensions, managed properties, verticals, result sources, and indexing patterns
• Implement DLP, sensitivity labels, retention, and compliance controls that align with Copilot’s retrieval and access trimming
• Build governance frameworks, provisioning models, and operational standards tailored to each client’s environment
• Create automation using PowerShell, PnP, and Graph API for reporting, provisioning, and repeatable deployment patterns
• Provide client workshops, documentation, and enablement sessions across technical and business teams
Required Experience:
• Consulting background with direct client engagement in M365 modernization, SharePoint Online, or cloud transformation projects
• Deep hands-on experience designing and administering SharePoint Online at the site, library, metadata, and search schema levels
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID authentication flows, conditional access logic, consent and permission models, and identity governance
• Experience with Graph API concepts, service principals, delegated permissions, and API limitations
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 compliance controls including DLP, sensitivity labeling, and retention policies
• Proficiency with PowerShell, PnP PowerShell, and automation patterns used in enterprise M365 environments
Preferred Experience:
• Prior delivery of Copilot for Microsoft 365 readiness or deployment projects
• Experience with migration tooling at scale
• Familiarity with Microsoft Search customization, connectors, and schema design
• Ability to present architecture, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
