Job Title: .Net Technical Lead
Location: Toronto, ON (3x onsite a week)
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Rate: CAD$45 - $50/HR INC
Job Description
We are looking for a strong Technical Lead to coordinate across teams, support production stability, and manage end-to-end delivery for project workstreams. The role includes system analysis, coding, debugging, SQL query development, defect resolution, and converting design documents into technical tasks.
Roles & Responsibilities
Collaborate with SMEs and business partners to drive project objectives.
Coordinate across BA, InfraOps, Networking, and technical teams.
Support production defect resolution during migration and post-migration phases.
Develop SQL queries for monitoring and data validation.
Ensure accurate implementation of product features.
Serve as Delivery SPOC/Lead for assigned workstreams.
Convert design documents into technical stories and development tasks.
Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and deployment.
Conduct code reviews and support release activities.
Perform root cause analysis for production issues.
Candidate Requirements
8–10 years of experience in system analysis, design, development, and debugging.
5–6 years of .NET (4.7+)/C# or 4–5 years of Python (3.x).
Strong experience with system integrations, APIs, and file transfers.
Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, Git, Jira, Confluence).
Knowledge of REST, SOAP, Web Services, XML.
Experience with OAuth2, SSO security frameworks.
Working knowledge of ETL/ELT, Kafka, and job schedulers (Cron, Airflow, TIDAL).
Cloud experience in Azure or GCP is an asset.
Fenergo implementation experience is a strong advantage.
