- 10+ years in software or data engineering, with experience in technical delivery leadership roles. - Proven track record in large-scale data migration/conversion projects, ideally within wealth management or financial services. - Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including ETL/ELT, data modeling, and governance. - Ability to lead delivery across fragmented setups and multiple data sources. - Engineering mindset with a focus on delivery ownership, not project management. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Familiarity with wealth domain data structures (e.g., client profiles, holdings, transactions, tax). - Certification in cloud platforms or data engineering is a plus.

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Technical Delivery Lead to oversee the end-to-end execution of a data conversion and migration stream within a major wealth management transformation program. This is a delivery role, not a project manager, requiring a seasoned engineering mindset and the ability to drive outcomes and meet deliverables across fragmented teams and systems. This role is ideal for someone who has previously led convert and migrate activities, understands the wealth domain, and can bring thought leadership to a long-term engagement. This role will be responsible for own the technical delivery of a conversion and migration stream, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are aligned across engineering, QA, and SAS/BAS teams. This is a hybrid role 2x per week in Downtown Toronto for a 12 month contract with extensions. Key Responsibilities - Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle. - Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, transformation logic, and system dependencies. - Maintain strong documentation to support regulatory and operational reviews. - Provide technical guidance and leadership without direct people management.
