Role Description

This is a contract-based Senior Product/Business Analyst role, with a hybrid working arrangement. The role is located in Chicago, IL, with the option for partial remote work. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, defining and optimizing business processes, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and providing analytical insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications

Proficient in Analytical Skills and Business Analysis to evaluate data and derive actionable insights.
Strong understanding of Business Processes and Business Requirements to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
Excellent Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present insights effectively.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is an asset.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in a similar role, with a track record of success in delivering measurable results.

Job Description:

Lead product and business analysis initiatives for customer-facing mobile and desktop digital platforms.
Define product scope and translate business needs into high-level requirements and detailed user stories.
Manage and prioritize Agile product backlogs to ensure sprint readiness and continuous value delivery.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation, and iteration kickoffs.
Collaborate closely with UX designers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
Partner with technical teams to define story boundaries and technical feasibility.
Create clear, concise, and actionable acceptance criteria for development and QA validation.
Analyze data and customer insights to align features with product strategy and business goals.
Deliver executive-level updates and presentations to leadership and cross-functional partners.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across product, process, and team performance.
Translate complex business problems into structured, scalable solutions.
Thrive in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment with iterative delivery cycles.
Support eCommerce initiatives to enhance digital customer experiences.
Maintain strong stakeholder alignment through effective communication and engagement.
Contribute strategically to product innovation impacting millions of customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Highlighted)

3–4 years of eCommerce experience
1–2 years of Agile/Scrum experience
Strong understanding of Agile concepts (User Stories, Sprints, Backlog Management, Acceptance Criteria)
Exceptional Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Excellent Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills
Strong Written & Verbal Communication
Experience facilitating Agile rituals
Ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements
Undergraduate degree preferred
