Are you a web application developer looking to have a large impact? As an established web application developer, do you enjoy driving technical direction while being hands-on. We're working with a rapid-growth startup (profitable, 35% YoY growth, ~100 people) who are keen to find a talented senior web application developer who can technically lead their existing frontend team.

This is a rare opportunity to join a greenfield project as the company look to design their run away success product from the ground up.

We're looking forward to speaking to senior frontend developers with the following profile:-

A minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 4 years building production frontends with React & Typescript
Strong frontend engineering fundamentals: Component architecture, state management, performance optimization and responsive design
Proven track record as a hands-on senior frontend engineer--you design and deliver production features while coaching and supporting others from a technical perspective
Data Visualization - Some prior experience in this domain will be a big advantage
Modern frontend tooling: Experience with build tools (Vite, Webpack), testing frameworks, and modern development workflows
API integration: Experience consuming REST APIs, handling asynchronous data, error handling, and loading states
Performance optimisation: Deep understanding of frontend performance--code splitting, lazy loading, memorisation, rendering optimisation
Start-up experience : Somebody who enjoys fast pace, quick decisions & blurring boundaries

You'll be happy producing high quality code and collaborating closely with UX designers. As a senior frontend developer you'll also be comfortable guiding and mentoring more junior developers / engineers. This is a role that comes with a high degree of autonomy and there is an expectation that you will be passionate about your craft and build that culture around you.
