Nexeo is currently looking for a Data Architect (Freelance or Permanent) to work on an interesting project within a multinational.

Responsibilities

You enable the business transformation by evaluating and defining the required evolutions of the Enterprise Architecture and by assessing innovative trends, solutions and technologies in line with the business strategy.
You are reference architect for your domain ‘data’.
You translate customer needs to business objectives with the marketing & sales teams and stakeholders and you ensure a smooth collaboration/communication.
You define application landscape components (functions, application/solution selection, data & message flows, integration patterns, component and deployment views,…) matching the business objectives, fitting the target Enterprise Architecture landscape.
You ensure as architect that the proposed solution has no negative impact – has a positive impact on business & IT operations (total cost of ownership)
You guide cross-Squads in the implementation of the defined EA Architecture.
You are up to par with current and emerging evolutions on relevant technologies and functionalities and you proactively propose improvements and next best action.
You define the required guardrails (Enterprise Architecture standards and guidelines) and ensure the governance and guidelines is followed
You ensure, in collaboration with the different relevant stakeholders the Application Landscape evolutions.
You support the (cyber-)security and GDPR-compliance assessments and the definition of action plan and controls drafting upon new components in the Application Landscape.
As a Domain Architect within our Agile organization, you belong to the Governance & Solutions Architecture Chapter and work continuously together within the Architecture Community (Enterprise Architects, Domain Architects as well as Software Architects) as well as the POs of the different Squads.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience as a Data Architect
Experience in data architecture design and execution is a must
Experience with modelling AS-IS and TO-BE enterprise architectures
You have excellent communication skills
You have the ability to define and analyse user requirements and advise customers on scope and options for business and IT improvements
You are flexible, pro-active, structured and quality oriented
You are a team player and you leverage the knowledge of your peers to build the best possible solution
French or Dutch MANDATORY AND English is a must
